WHEELDON MANOR

This is a multi-level property consisting of over 23,000 square feet located in the heart of downtown Central City, Ky. One of few stand alone buildings, it is bordered by an upper level railroad track and flowing creek. These factors along with the odd shaped building are known to cause heightened paranormal activity of a haunted location. This is where the story of "Wheeldon Manor" will begin.
Al
though reports from most tenants in years past claiming experiences of unknown footsteps following them down the expansive hallways, unexplained odors and sounds, disembodied voices, and even full bodied apparitions, nothing could have prepared me for my own personal encounter with the paranormal forces within Wheeldon Manor's walls.
While Wheeldon Manor was built prior to 1900 being well over 110 years old, and serving the community as a car dealership, old armory, boarding house for the rail road, apartments, and various retail outlets, it's paranormal history is just beginning to be documented. A quote from highly acclaimed paranormal investigator Keith Fournier of Night Stalkers Paranormal Research exclaiming "this place is a paranormal investigators dream"!!
Countless pieces of evidence have been captured in a very short period, with investigations conducted by Phyllis Bingham and team, Night Stalkers Paranormal Research, an up and coming investigator and psychic/medium Cassidy Rae, and the highly motivated and innovative Western Kentucky Paranormal. WKYP has partnered with us to bring you the first opportunity offered to the public a chance to be part of a privately held "novice" ghost hunt. Details will be coming soon. A great friend, mentor, and all-star investigator Barry Gaunt, widely known as the Ky Truthseeker, member of Night Stalkers Paranormal Research and TARC (The Anomalies Research Center), has captured some awesome evp's and one of my favorite pieces of photographic evidence. He believes although Wheeldon Manor boasts of extreme amounts of paranormal activity, "the surface has yet to be scratched"!
